You book ground transport. Your principal only notices when something goes wrong. This page is for executive assistants, chiefs of staff, and personal assistants who arrange chauffeur transfers in Geneva and across Switzerland. Below: the seven things that actually matter when you book on someone else’s behalf — and how SLS is structured to make your job invisible.
The job no one sees until something goes wrong
You handle calendar, travel, expenses, security clearances, dietary preferences, hotel preferences, vehicle preferences. Ground transport is one of dozens of details, but it’s the one your principal sits in for 30 minutes between flights and meetings. A late driver, a cluttered car, a chauffeur who tries to make small talk — those are the moments that get reported back. We are built around that reality.
The seven things that matter to an EA
1. A single point of contact
You book through one inbox (info@swiss-limousine-service.com) or one direct line (+41 76 511 20 00). Repeat clients get a named account manager who answers their email personally. No call-center routing, no ticket numbers, no “let me transfer you.” Bookings, changes, and cancellations all go through the same person who already knows your principal’s vehicle preference and seat side.
2. Live tracking shared with you and the principal
Every booking generates a real-time tracking link with the chauffeur’s name, photo, vehicle, plate number, ETA, and live GPS position. You can forward that link to your principal, to security, to the hotel concierge, to a meeting host — anyone who needs to know “is the car here yet.” When the principal lands, you don’t get woken up to confirm pickup; the link does it.
3. Automated communications
Confirmation email at booking. Driver assignment 24h before. Final driver details (name, photo, plate, mobile) the day of service. Live “driver en route” SMS to the principal. Final invoice in your inbox after the trip. You write nothing. If the flight changes, our dispatch detects it from the flight number and adjusts pickup automatically — you get a notification, not a request to confirm.
4. Multi-leg coordination
One booking can include: GVA pickup, hotel drop-off, hotel-to-meeting transfer, lunch venue, evening dinner, hotel return, airport return. We allocate the same chauffeur and vehicle across all legs whenever possible. The chauffeur stays on standby between legs (as-directed mode) at CHF 100/h E-Class, CHF 120/h V-Class, CHF 140/h S-Class — no minimums, billed in 30-minute increments after the first hour. You book once; we run the whole day.
5. Discreet, NDA-bound chauffeurs
All chauffeurs sign a confidentiality agreement covering names, destinations, conversations, and any documents observed in the vehicle. They do not photograph passengers or vehicles. They do not post about clients on social media. They do not initiate conversation, do not comment on news, do not recommend restaurants. They open doors, they drive, they manage luggage. For UHNW principals or sensitive engagements, we assign chauffeurs vetted under our Secure Transport programme — close-protection background, additional NDA, no third-party visibility on the booking.
6. Transparent invoicing for corporate accounts
Corporate clients receive one consolidated monthly invoice with full trip detail (date, route, principal initials or cost code, vehicle, chauffeur, total). We integrate with major travel-and-expense platforms on request (SAP Concur, Egencia, BCD Travel). Payment by SWIFT, SEPA, Stripe link, or corporate Amex. No in-vehicle payment ever — the principal never sees a card reader.
7. Same-day and last-minute reliability
Same-day bookings are the test of a chauffeur service, not the standard pricing. We hold reserve capacity in Geneva and the surrounding region precisely for the calls that come in at 17h00 for an 18h00 pickup. Confirmation typically within 15 minutes during business hours. We will tell you if we cannot do something — we will not over-commit and underdeliver.
Common EA scenarios — and how we run them
Inbound principal at Geneva Airport (GVA)
You give us the flight number and the destination. We monitor the flight, the chauffeur is dispatched to match actual landing, and meets the principal with a discreet name sign in arrivals (or at the gate for private aviation). The principal walks out, the car is at the curb, the bags are loaded, you receive a “driver in transit with principal” SMS. From CHF 120 Geneva centre, from CHF 310 to Lausanne, from CHF 650 to Verbier or Gstaad. Private aviation FBO arrivals have separate tarmac-cleared protocols.
Multi-day Geneva business visit
A typical structure: GVA pickup Monday morning → Four Seasons des Bergues → Tuesday meetings in old town and Plainpalais (as-directed, 8h block) → Wednesday Lausanne board meeting (round-trip) → Thursday return to GVA. One chauffeur, one vehicle, four-day continuity. The principal builds a rapport with the driver; you don’t reintroduce the brief every morning. See our 5-star hotel directory for hotel-specific protocols.
MICE delegation (5-25 people)
Davos, EBACE, GemGenève, Watches & Wonders, the WEF surge — we run delegations with mixed fleet (E-Class for executives, V-Class for senior staff, Sprinter for support team), single point of contact, single invoice, single dispatch view. DMC and PA partners have a dedicated portal.
Ski weekend with family
Less common in EA workflow but still part of our regular service: Geneva Airport to Verbier, Courchevel, Megève, Zermatt, Val d’Isère with V-Class for family + ski equipment. Child seats free with notice. Ski transfer rates and routes.
How booking works (your two-minute version)
- Email info@swiss-limousine-service.com with: principal name (or initials/cost code if confidentiality requires), flight number or pickup time, destination, number of passengers, luggage, any preferences (vehicle category, child seat, no chit-chat, German-speaking chauffeur, etc.).
- Confirmation in your inbox within 30 minutes during business hours, usually faster for repeat clients.
- 24h before service: chauffeur assignment, vehicle, plate, mobile.
- Day of service: live tracking link, automatic flight monitoring, automated notifications.
- After service: tracking link archived in your account, invoice issued (immediately for one-off, or rolled into monthly statement for corporate).
Cancellation and changes
We know plans change. Free cancellation more than 48 hours before scheduled pickup. 50% between 48 and 24 hours. 100% under 24 hours. Modifications (time, vehicle, destination) are free up to 2 hours before pickup. Full policy in our Terms & Conditions.
What you can ask us to do that we can’t do
Honest list, because surprises are the enemy. We do not: park overnight at the airport for early arrivals (we charge return-to-base), drive in countries other than Switzerland and immediate cross-border zones (Annecy, Lyon, Milan are case-by-case), provide armoured vehicles (available on 72h notice through partner network only), provide bodyguards in the same vehicle (close-protection runs separately, see Secure Transport). When you ask for something we cannot deliver in-house, we will tell you who can — usually the same day.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have a corporate account programme?
Yes. Once you’ve booked 3 transfers, we offer corporate account terms: 30-day payment, monthly consolidated invoice, named account manager, priority dispatch, and pre-negotiated rates for high-volume routes. No setup fee, no minimum spend, cancellable any time.
Can I book without giving the principal’s name?
Yes. We routinely book under initials, cost codes, or alias on request. NDA-bound chauffeurs do not need the real name to do the job correctly.
What if the flight is delayed or diverted?
Flight tracking is automatic. If the flight is delayed, the chauffeur dispatch shifts; you do not need to update us. If the flight is diverted (e.g. to Zurich), we will reach out to you with options: chauffeur drives to the diversion airport (CHF 1,095+ Geneva-Zurich), chauffeur waits if return is expected within 4 hours, or rebook for the new arrival time. No charge for the original Geneva pickup if the diversion makes it impossible.
Can chauffeurs handle children, pets, special needs?
Yes. Group 0+, 1, 2/3 child seats and boosters available free with 24h notice. Pet transport in V-Class with notice (we use a protective seat cover). Wheelchair-accessible vehicles available on 48h notice through partner. Chauffeurs are first-aid certified.
Can I integrate with our travel platform (Concur, Egencia, etc.)?
Yes for invoicing and reporting. We do not currently have direct API integration for booking but can deliver invoice data in any format your travel ops team needs. Contact us with the spec.
What do you charge for waiting time?
Airport pickups include 45 minutes free wait after wheels-down for international, 30 minutes for Schengen. Non-airport pickups include 15 minutes. Beyond that, waiting is billed at 25% of the hourly rate per 15-minute increment. Standby time during as-directed bookings is included in the hourly rate — no surcharge.
Are your chauffeurs employees or contractors?
Our core team are employees. We supplement with a vetted partner network in peak periods (WEF, Watches & Wonders, Art Basel, Montreux Jazz) — same NDA, same vetting, same dress code, same vehicles. The principal does not see a difference; you do not see a difference on the invoice.
