Geneva is the gateway to more than 22 world-class ski resorts across the Swiss and French Alps. From the moment you land at Geneva Airport (GVA), Swiss Limousine Service offers an all-inclusive private Mercedes transfer to any resort — fixed price from CHF 550, professional multilingual chauffeur, winter tyres and snow chains included from November through April, and free flight tracking with 60 minutes of complimentary wait time. No surge pricing, no hidden surcharges for snow conditions, no last-minute cancellations during peak periods.
Why pre-book your Geneva ski transfer (and never rely on a taxi)
During the Alpine winter season, taxi availability at Geneva Airport collapses under demand. Saturday is the universal swap day for chalet rentals, which means thousands of skiers land between 10:00 and 16:00 and head for the same valleys at the same time. Taxis queue, prices rise, and unprepared drivers without snow tyres simply refuse the longer climbs to Verbier, Val d’Isère or Zermatt.
Pre-booking with Swiss Limousine Service eliminates every one of those risks. Your driver is already winter-equipped, already briefed on your flight, already waiting in the official meet-and-greet area when you land. If your flight is delayed by two hours or arrives early, the price does not change. If the Méribél road is closed and we re-route via Moûtiers, the price does not change. Our chauffeurs drive the same Alpine corridors every day from November to April — they know which cantonal road is gritted at 06:00, which hairpin needs chains earlier than the others, and which lay-by is safe to stop at to fit them.

Winter equipment included as standard
Every Swiss Limousine Service vehicle is equipped from 1 November to 30 April with:
- Premium winter tyres rated for Alpine conditions, replaced every season
- Snow chains kept onboard, fitted by the chauffeur when cantonal authorities require
- Heated leather seats and dual-zone climate control across the full Mercedes fleet
- Roof-mounted ski and snowboard boxes available on request (specify at booking)
- Child seats and boosters at no additional charge (Group 0+, 1, 2, 3 available)
- Complimentary bottled water and Wi-Fi onboard
Group ski transfers — V-Class and Sprinter
The Mercedes V-Class is our most popular ski transfer vehicle: seven passengers, all of their soft luggage, and up to six pairs of skis or snowboards in optional roof boxes. For chalet groups, corporate ski incentive trips, or extended families, the Mercedes Sprinter carries up to 17 passengers with a dedicated luggage compartment and panoramic roof. Both vehicles include the same winter equipment and the same fixed-price guarantee.
Peak season — book early
Three windows fill our fleet completely every winter:
- Christmas / New Year — 20 December to 4 January. Book by mid-October for guaranteed availability.
- February half-term — UK schools, French zones A/B/C, Swiss cantonal breaks all overlap. Book by early December.
- Easter and late-March — book by end of January, particularly for Verbier, Val d’Isère and Zermatt.
Outside these windows, 72 hours’ notice is generally sufficient. Same-day bookings are accepted when the fleet allows — call +41 22 909 34 34 or use our 24/7 online booking.
Après-ski and return transfers
Most clients book the return at the same time as the outbound — you receive a small discount on round-trip bookings and your driver is guaranteed for the date and time you require. Return transfers to Geneva Airport leave the resort early enough to absorb traffic on the swap-day Saturday and reach GVA at least 2h30 before international departures or 1h30 before Schengen flights. If you prefer to fly later in the day, your chauffeur can also wait while you ski the morning — ask us about half-day extensions.
Most popular Geneva ski transfer routes
- Geneva to Verbier transfer — 160 km, 2 hours, from CHF 780
- Geneva to Zermatt transfer — 230 km, 3h30, from CHF 1100
- Geneva to Val d’Isère transfer — 220 km, 3 hours, from CHF 850
- Swiss Alps chauffeur service — multi-day, multi-resort, by the hour
Frequently asked questions
How long does Geneva to Verbier or Val d’Isère actually take?
Verbier is 2 hours from Geneva Airport in normal conditions. Val d’Isère is 3 hours. Saturday afternoons in peak season can add 30 to 60 minutes between Moûtiers and the Tarentaise climb. We monitor live traffic and depart accordingly — for a 16:00 lift to your chalet, your driver leaves Geneva when the journey requires, at no extra cost.
Do you supply roof boxes for skis and snowboards?
Yes — specify ski equipment at booking and we mount a sealed roof box on the V-Class or E-Class. The box accommodates six pairs of standard skis or four snowboards plus boot bags. There is no additional charge for the roof box itself; we simply need 24 hours’ notice to fit and re-balance the vehicle.
Are snow chains included in the price?
Yes. Every winter-season vehicle carries chains as standard, and your chauffeur fits them whenever cantonal road authorities require — common above Le Châble on the Verbier climb, on the Tasch approach to Zermatt, and on the final climb to Val Thorens. There is no surcharge.
Can you provide child seats?
Yes, free of charge. We carry rear-facing infant seats (Group 0+), forward-facing toddler seats (Group 1), and boosters (Group 2/3). Tell us the child’s age and weight at booking and the correct seat is fitted before pickup.
What is your cancellation policy?
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before pickup. Inside 48 hours, 50% applies. Inside 24 hours or no-show, the full transfer is charged. Flight delays, cancellations and re-routings on the day are never penalised — we re-schedule at no cost.
Do you handle group ski transfers larger than seven passengers?
Yes — our Mercedes Sprinter accommodates up to 17 passengers plus equipment. For chalet groups of 14 or 21, we operate two or three vehicles in convoy with synchronised arrival at the resort. Quote requests welcome at [email protected].
What happens if my flight is delayed?
We track every inbound flight in real time using its IATA number. If your aircraft is delayed by two hours, your chauffeur is updated automatically and arrives at the new ETA. The 60-minute complimentary wait begins from your actual landing time, not from the original booking time. No surcharge for delays.
Can the chauffeur stop on the way for groceries or skis rental?
Yes. Many of our clients stop at the Migros in Martigny (en route to Verbier) or the Carrefour in Bourg-Saint-Maurice (en route to Val d’Isère or Tignes). Add a 30 or 60-minute stop at booking, or simply ask the driver on the day — we charge our hourly rate for waiting beyond the included free time.
Do prices change during the holidays?
No. Swiss Limousine Service operates fixed all-inclusive rates 365 days a year. Christmas Eve, New Year’s Day, Easter morning — same price as a quiet Tuesday in November. The only seasonal constraint is availability: book early.
Is the transfer one-way or round-trip?
Both are available. Most clients book round-trip for a small discount and guaranteed return availability. One-way is fine if your plans are flexible — we can quote the return separately when you confirm dates.
