Hotels and drop-off zones we serve in Interlaken

Interlaken sits between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz at the gateway to the Bernese Oberland — Jungfrau region, Eiger and Mönch. Our chauffeurs deliver door-to-door at the historic Victoria Jungfrau Grand Hotel & Spa on Höheweg, the Grand Hotel Beau-Rivage Interlaken, the Royal St Georges, and the Hotel Du Nord. For premium chalet stays in Wilderswil, Bönigen, Iseltwald (the Crash Landing on You filming location) and Beatenberg, we ask for the postcode at booking — some upper roads above Beatenberg require winter tyres + chains November to April.

For onward connections to higher resorts we cover Grindelwald (25 minutes), Wengen (cog rail from Lauterbrunnen, we drop at the station), Mürren (cable car via Stechelberg), and the Schilthorn approach. Our drivers know the timing of the Jungfraubahn and BLS connections so a chauffeur transfer can integrate with rail to maximise efficiency.

Pricing and what’s included

The flat-rate transfer from Geneva Airport (GVA) to Interlaken centre is CHF 720 in Mercedes E-Class for one to three passengers, CHF 850 in V-Class for families with hold luggage, CHF 1 000 in S-Class for VIP and UHNW principals, and from CHF 1 250 in Sprinter for groups up to 17. From Zurich Airport (ZRH), Interlaken is closer — CHF 600 / 720 / 880 / 1 000 for the same vehicle classes, 130 km via Lucerne and the Brünig Pass.

Every flat rate is all-inclusive: chauffeur, fuel, Swiss motorway tolls and vignette, 60 minutes of waiting time at the airport with real-time flight tracking, bottled water, and Swiss VAT (8.1%). Winter equipment (M+S 3PMSF tyres + chains) included November to April for the Brünig Pass and Bernese Oberland routes. No booking fees, no surge pricing, no late-night or weekend surcharges.

Geneva vs Zurich — which airport for Interlaken?

Most international clients choose Zurich (ZRH) for Interlaken given the shorter drive (2 hours vs 3 hours from Geneva). However, Geneva remains the right choice when (a) flying private into Geneva FBOs (Geneva Executive FBO, Jet Aviation, Signature) for which we coordinate handler-to-vehicle transfer, (b) connecting from Watches & Wonders Geneva or other Genevan business commitments to a Bernese Oberland holiday, or (c) routing onward via Lake Geneva and Vevey/Montreux for a multi-leg programme. We run both routes routinely; the choice usually follows the flight, not the destination.

Multi-day Bernese Oberland chauffeur programmes

Beyond the airport transfer, our hourly chauffeur retainer (CHF 120/h E-Class, CHF 180/h S-Class, three-hour minimum) attaches a dedicated driver and vehicle to your Interlaken stay — morning Jungfraujoch excursion, mid-day lunch in Mürren, afternoon Lake Brienz boat coordination, evening dinner in Iseltwald, late-night return. The same chauffeur stays with you across the entire programme, learns your preferences and adapts silently. For groups visiting Adventure Park or Outdoor activities, we coordinate group dispatch from the chalet to the activity site and back.

Onward to Bernese ski stations

Interlaken is the gateway to the Jungfrau ski domain. We run direct transfers Interlaken → Grindelwald (25 min), → Mürren via Stechelberg (30 min), → Wengen via Lauterbrunnen station (chauffeur to station + train). For deeper Bernese Oberland (Adelboden, Lenk, Kandersteg) we run direct chauffeur — typically 1 hour from Interlaken. The Saanenland (Gstaad) is 1h 30 via the Saanenmöser pass, route classique pour les programmes ski + culture combinés.

Frequently asked questions — Geneva / Zurich to Interlaken chauffeur

How long is Geneva to Interlaken by chauffeur?

Approximately 3 hours in normal conditions, 220 km via Bern and the A6/A8 autoroute. In winter peak weeks (Christmas–New Year, February school holidays), allow 3h 30 with possible chain-required sections on the Brünig Pass approach. The route is fully autoroute-grade with the final 30 minutes through the Aare valley toward Interlaken.

How long is Zurich to Interlaken by chauffeur?

Approximately 2 hours in normal conditions, 130 km via Lucerne and the Brünig Pass (or via the Bern autoroute if conditions favour). The Brünig Pass closes briefly during heavy snow (rare but possible January–February); we monitor conditions live and reroute via Bern if needed without changing the flat rate.

Where exactly do you drop in Interlaken?

Direct drop at any Interlaken hotel (Victoria Jungfrau, Beau-Rivage, Royal St Georges, Du Nord, Hotel Bellevue, Lindner Grand Hotel Beau-Rivage), at any chalet in Wilderswil, Bönigen, Iseltwald, Matten or Beatenberg, or at the Interlaken Ost / Interlaken West rail stations for onward Jungfraubahn / BLS connections.

Can you continue to Grindelwald or Mürren?

Yes. Interlaken to Grindelwald is 25 minutes by car; to Lauterbrunnen 20 minutes (then cog rail to Wengen or cable car to Mürren via Stechelberg, 30 minutes). We coordinate with hotel concierges and with the cog-rail operators so your luggage transits door-to-door even when the final leg is by mountain railway.

Best vehicle for a Bernese Oberland family ski week?

Mercedes V-Class for any family transfer with skis and hold luggage — only fleet vehicle that fits four pairs of skis on the rack plus four large suitcases plus four cabin bags inside without compromise. For a couple at Victoria Jungfrau, S-Class. For groups attending corporate retreats at Lindner, Sprinter VIP with conference seating works for the airport-to-hotel group transfer.

Do you cover the Schilthorn / Piz Gloria approach?

Yes — we drop at Stechelberg Talstation for the Schilthornbahn cable car ascent (the James Bond Piz Gloria filming location). Our chauffeur waits or returns based on your itinerary; we typically recommend a hourly retainer for full Schilthorn programmes given the unpredictable cable-car timing in fog.
